One man is dead after crashing into a wall and hitting another vehicle overnight, SAPD says

Crews on the the scene say a woman was in the car with him who survived and was taken to the hospital as a precaution.

SAN ANTONIO — A food delivery driver is dead after crashing on the northeast side Wednesday night, according to San Antonio Police.

Police say he lost control exiting northeast Loop 410 near 281 around 10 p.m. Wednesday. 

Officers say he slammed into a wall then hit another vehicle before coming to a complete stop in a parking lot near the interchange. 

Crews on the the scene say a woman was in the car with him who survived and was taken to the hospital as a precaution. 

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene and those involved in the second vehicle were not injured.
