Man hospitalized after police find him walking outside covered in blood, no suspect at this time

The victim refused to give police any information regarding the case or his identity before being transferred to a local hospital.

SAN ANTONIO — A man was hospitalized after police find him outside covered in blood due to a laceration to the main artery, according to the San Antonio Police Department

Around 1 p.m. on Sunday, SAPD responded to a disturbance coming from a house off West Russell Place with an individual walking around outside covered in blood.

When police made contact with said individual, they discovered a trail of blood leading back to an apartment due to a laceration to the main artery. The victim refused to give police any information regarding the case or his identity, but police were able to identify him by running his license plate number.

Police did not find anyone in the apartment and no one else, as of now, is a suspect in this case as authorities have very little information to work with right now.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

This is an ongoing investigation. KENS 5 will update this story as more information becomes available.
