SAN ANTONIO — A man is in critical condition after being shot multiple times by someone inside the northwest-side home where he was staying, police say.
San Antonio Police responded to the 200 block of Adrian Drive, in between Vance Jackson Road and West Avenue, around 10:15 p.m. on Tuesday for reports of a shooting in progress.
When officers arrived at the location, they found a victim in his 20s with multiple gunshot wounds to his head, arms and body. He was taken to University Hospital in critical condition.
According to police, the man is renting out a room at the home. He was inside with his landlord and the suspect when some sort of argument broke out. At some point, the suspect pulled out a gun, shot the victim and then took off running.
Due to the victim’s injuries and a language barrier, police say they only got a vague description of the suspect.
At this time, officers are looking for the suspect who they believe is a thin man.
No other injuries were reported.
This is a developing story.
