SAN ANTONIO — A man is dead after a truck crashed into him and another woman on I-10 near Leon Springs.
This happened on the I-10 exit ramp near Boerne Stage Road around 2:00 a.m. Monday morning.
Police are calling this a deadly hit and run and right now no one has been arrested as they work to find the suspect. We've been able to learn from officers that the man and woman's Mini Cooper broke down on the side of the interstate.
When they were pushing it off of the highway, police tell us a grey pickup truck crashed into the back of them. The man in his 50s died at the scene as the suspect drove off.
The woman is in the hospital but is expected to be okay.
