Man runs over girlfriend's foot after argument near downtown San Antonio, police say

Police are trying to determine if this was an accident or intentional.

SAN ANTONIO — A man ran over his girlfriend's foot after an argument at an intersection near downtown Saturday morning, police said. 

San Antonio police responded to a call on Guadalupe Street and South Laredo Street around 3:30 a.m. 

Police said the couple got into an argument when the man told the woman to get out of the car. As the woman was exiting the car the man sped off running over the woman's foot. 

The woman was transported to the hospital in stable condition. 

No other injuries were reported. 

Police are trying to determine if this was an accident or intentional.
