Responding officers were able to capture the shooting suspect about a mile from the scene.

San Antonio Police responded to a shooting in progress at a residence on Excellence Drive.

According to police, a woman told officers that the man shot her boyfriend in the parking lot.

The victim was shot multiple times and died at the scene, authorities say.
