Man shot in buttocks over parking spot on west-side, police say

The 41-year-old victim is expected to be okay.

SAN ANTONIO — An argument ended Tuesday night with a 41-year-old man shot in the buttocks on the west side of San Antonio.

Police say they are investigating two crime scenes they believe to be linked to the shooting and say the entire incident was over a parking spot.

It happened just after 8:30 p.m. on West Commerce Street near General McMullen Drive.

Police say the man was at a store on W. Commerce street when he got into an argument with a group of guys over a parking spot. When he was leaving, he told officers the men started to shoot at his car, hitting him in his buttocks.

Officers found the victim about two to three miles from the store on Dolores Avenue.

The victim was taken to University Hospital and is expected to be okay.

Police went back to the store, but were not able to find any witnesses.

This is an ongoing investigation.
