SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police are searching for a suspect after a man is shot multiple times on the city's north side.
Police said the shooting happened around 11:30p.m. Thursday on Wilderness Oak at the Vecina Apartment Villas.
According to authorities 10 to 15 shots were fired at the victim in a stairwell inside the apartment complex.
Police said the victim was shot multiple times in the torso in close proximity.
The victim was taken to a local hospital with life threatening injuries.
Police said it is unknown what caused the altercation.
The suspect fled the scene in a black SUV prior to police arrival, authorities said.
