SAN ANTONIO — One person was sent to the hospital after being stabbed by a man with a machete on the northeast side Thursday morning, according to San Antonio Police.
The incident occurred on the 10900 block of Nacogdoches around 6 a.m. Thursday.
Officers say they found a man suffering from a stab wound to his right arm on a sidewalk. The man told police he got into a confrontation with another man in a wooded area before being stabbed with a machete.
The man says the suspect then took off on a bike and police are still searching for him.
The man was sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
