SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Parks and Recreation Department has announced the return of their annual Mario Kart themed Derby Dash.
This is the third year the department will be hosting the event and it will include a relay race, carnival games, prizes, costume contest and best car contest.
Participating community centers will compete to be crowned Derby Dash Champions and the department says if you want to enter the race, you can visit your local Community Center to get started on making your Derby Dash Karts.
The event will take place on Saturday, Nov. 4 at the Wheatley Heights Sports Complex from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and admission is free!
