MEDINA COUNTY, Texas — Officials in Medina County are searching for a driver who is missing after their vehicle was swept off the road in high water Monday night.
Medina County Dispatch received the call around 9:20 p.m. from someone who said they were trapped in their vehicle on Park Road 37 and had been swept off the road during the heavy rain.
Officials found the vehicle around 11 p.m. unoccupied downstream about one and a half miles from where it was first reported, and are still trying to find the missing driver.
First responders ask that everyone please use caution in this area as they continue their search.
