Mega Millions ticket worth $1M sold in Austin, but no jackpot winner

The winning Mega Millions ticket was purchased at a South Austin convenience store.

AUSTIN, Texas — A winning Mega Millions lottery ticket was recently purchased in the Texas capital! 

The $1 million quick pick ticket was purchased in Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing, with winning numbers 8-43-48-58-60-4.

According to the Texas Lottery, the lucky numbers were purchased at a C Mart convenience store in South Austin, located at 7811 S. 1st St., Suite 100.

The last time a ticket worth $1 million was sold in Austin was earlier this month, on Oct. 7. A resident won a Million Dollar Loteria scratch-off ticket, which was purchased at Pong Springs XPress at 13125 Pond Springs Road, Suite 101.

The next Texas Lottery Mega Millions jackpot is estimated at $229 million, with a cash value of roughly $107.4 million. The drawing is set for this Friday.

Meanwhile, the national Powerball jackpot currently sits at a $456 million grand prize, which has been slowing rising since August.

Drawings for Powerball happen at 9:59 p.m. Central Time each Monday, Wednesday and Saturday while Mega Millions takes place on Tuesday and Friday.
