SAN ANTONIO — The Bexar County Sheriff's Office is looking for a missing teen last seen getting into a vehicle Thursday afternoon.
Jewelle Marie Hatten-Smith was last seen by her parents through their home security camera getting into a silver sedan that was parked in the driveway around 12:15 p.m.
Jewelle was last seen wearing a white long sleeve shirt/hoodie and blue jeans carrying a dark backpack and dark colored gym bag.
She is 5-foot-7 with brown eyes, black hair and weighs approximately 200 pounds.
Deputies encourage people that offer public transportation like Uber and Lyft and recall providing a service to Jewelle to contact the BCSO.
Authorities also reminds the public that it is a Class A misdemeanor to harbor a runaway which is punishable for up to one year in jail and a $5,000 fine.
