SAN ANTONIO — Authorities in Bexar County believe a woman's body found at the Salado Creek Greenway is that of a missing woman last seen Sunday. They are investigating the case as a homicide.

A CLEAR Alert was issued early Monday morning for Stacey Dramiga, 63, as authorities searched the area where she was last seen. BCSO says she was planning to go for a walk on the trails around 10 a.m. Sunday at Covington Park, which was where her car was found. She was last seen wearing a blue long sleeve shirt and dark leggings.

Her husband contacted authorities Sunday night when she had not returned home, BCSO said. Investigators attempted to ping her phone, but the area was too broad. A family iPad was used to further narrow the ping and her body was found a short time later in a wooded area off the main trail.

Sheriff Javier Salazar said they cannot confirm the body is Dramiga, however, he did say the description matches what Dramiga was known to be wearing. Salazar said it appears that foul play was involved and it is being investigated as a homicide.

BCSO is asking that anyone who may have come in contact with her any time on Sunday to please contact the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office at (210) 335-6000.
