Missing 17-year-old girl found safe

Adiya Zahara Kirwan was last seen leaving her home on the 8200 block of Plum Valley on the city’s far northwest side Monday evening.

Adiya Zahara Kirwan has been safely located and reunited with her family.

The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office needs your help finding a 17-year-old girl who went missing on Monday.

Adiya Zahara Kirwan was last seen leaving her home on the 8200 block of Plum Valley on the city’s far northwest side Monday evening.

The teen was last seen wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans. She is 5’2” and weighs 150 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.

Adiyah also has scars on the top of her hands and two piercings in each earlobe.

According to BCSO, Adiya left a written note for her family and there is concern for her safety. Her cell phone is currently turned off and her family confirmed with authorities that she did take the phone with her.

Anyone with information regarding Adiyah’s whereabouts is urged to call the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office at (210) 335-6000 or contact the Missing Persons Unit via missingpersons@bexar.org.
