SAN ANTONIO — A tragic update from loved ones of a San Antonio woman reported missing on Wednesday.
The body of 58-year-old Stephanie Troilo was discovered Sunday, according to her brother Chris Troilo.
Family says she was found in a creek bed just two miles from Northeast Baptist Hospital where she disappeared from on Monday.
Her brother Chris previously told KENS 5 that his sister likely suffered a seizure and was taken to the emergency room. When she arrived at the hospital, Chris says she was in a state of confusion and unsure of her whereabouts or identity.
He says she was discharged from the emergency room at around 5 a.m., given a bus pass and sent on her way. That was the last time she was seen.
Chris says police do not suspect foul play. Authorities believe Stephanie likely died after suffering a medical episode.
