Man charged with sexual assault after police say he lured victim out of her business

Nazeir Baker is accused of luring a 25-year-old woman out of her business last weekend and sexually attacking her.

SAN ANTONIO — A business owner fought off a sexual assault suspect and we've learned surveillance video, as well as the suspect's own mother help police put him in jail.

San Antonio Police say the sexual assault happened Saturday. The next day, investigators say this suspect was trying to break into where a different woman lives.

Nazeir Baker is accused of luring a 25-year-old woman out of her business last weekend and sexually attacking her. Officers say the 18-year-old knocked on the door and asked the woman about working alone before he made his move outside.

Investigators say it was all caught on camera. Baker got away as the victim fought him off. Then, the next day, police say a woman scared him off as he tried to break into her apartment.

Apparently, they live in the same complex because an arrest affidavit says she pointed out where he lived with his parents.

The eagle-eyed officers who responded thought Baker's description and even his clothing matched from the sexual assault case.

Investigators pulled surveillance images from the sexual assault. Police say baker's mother confirmed as him---as did the victim.

He is facing a sexual assault charge and being held on a $125,000 bond.
