SAN ANTONIO — A motorcycle driver is now dead after crashing into a vehicle Friday night, police say.
According to authorities a 27-year-old man was driving a motorcycle southbound in the 6500 block of Babcock Road around 9:24 p.m.
As the motorcycle was approaching the intersection at Spring Time Drive, a 1979 El Camino was driving northbound on Babcock Road at the intersection. The vehicle made a left turn onto Spring Time Drive in front of the motorcycle, according to police.
The motorcycle then hit the El Camino and the rider sustained life-threatening injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene. He has been identified and the next of kin have been notified.
The driver of the El Camino was not under the influence and faces no charges.
