SAN ANTONIO — A motorcyclist was ejected from his motorcycle after hitting a vehicle making a left turn Friday night, according to police.

At about 6:26 p.m., a 24-year-old man was driving a motorcycle westbound on De Zavala Road. Meanwhile, a Toyota Camry was stopped at the stop sign at the intersection of West Golden Lane and De Zavala Road, waiting for westbound traffic to slow down so she could make a left turn.

The Camry proceeded to make the turn where there was an opening, only for the motorcycle to hit the Camry's driver side passenger's door. The motorcyclist was ejected and sustained serious injuries, according to police. He was then taken to the hospital and at last check was in stable condition.

The driver of the Camry remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Police say she will not be charged with anything.
