It's been exactly two months and one day since the body of Julie Mott went missing from Mission Park Funeral Home North.
Alongside San Antonio Police Chief William McManus, Charlotte and Tim Mott appealed to emotion for help finding their deceased daughter.
"We ask that you please return our Julie to us," Charlotte Mott said.
McManus admitted to choking up when Mott's mother spoke to the media.
He didn't provide details about the investigation, but it is still ongoing.
Mott's parents did say they have an idea who might have taken her body back in August.
"Her final wishes are very important to her family to complete. It is the last thing we could do for her," Charlotte Mott said.
She said Julie wanted to be cremated.
Mission Park has held searches and is even offering a reward for information leading to her discovery.
While searches at area parks have yielded the remains of another person, they have yet to find Julie.
Charlotte Mott directly addressed the person or people who took Julie.
"Julie was my baby for 26 years. I was her caregiver, the one who drove her to and from her doctor's visits, stayed with her throughout her many hospital stays, and in later years, (I was) her best friend," she said.
"This selfish person who took her could not have loved her anymore than I do, I need her back please. I know her beautiful soul is gone, but we need her body."
