SAN ANTONIO — Police are asking for help in solving the murder of a 28-year-old woman from more than two years ago.
Back on March 27, 2022, Chelsey Eckols was in her parked car to meet with an acquaintance at the Judson Meadow Apartments, at 14675 Judson Road. Police say several gunmen approached her car and fired into it, hitting both Chelsey and the acquaintance. The suspects took off in a silver sedan. Eckols died at the scene, but the other victim survived.
Police say further investigation revealed the firearms used in this case have also been used in seven other shootings in San Antonio.
