SAN ANTONIO — A police officer crashed into another vehicle that failed to yield the right of way at an intersection on the southwest side of town late Saturday night.
San Antonio Police say they received the call around 9:40 p.m. for an officer involved in a collision at the intersection of Ray Ellison Boulevard and Five Palms Drive. The officer was responding to another call and had a green light when the driver of the car with the three people inside turned left right in front of the officer.
One woman and one young girl were both taken to the hospital in unknown condition. The police officer was also taken to the hospital as a precaution.
None of the injuries were life-threatening and the crash remains under investigation.
No other injuries were reported.
This is a developing story.
