Victim of rollover crash on west side found in wooded area, BCSO says

When deputies initially arrived at the location of the crash, no victims were found.

SAN ANTONIO — An effort is underway by local law enforcement to find a victim from a rollover crash on the west side of San Antonio that happened early Tuesday morning.

Bexar County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to the accident on the 14600 block of Potranco Road, not far from State Highway 211, around 12:30 a.m..

Deputies say that only one vehicle was involved in the rollover crash, and nobody was found when first responders arrived at the location. Officials believe the driver walked into a wooded area with his injuries.

They searched the area on foot and had Eagle fly over, and eventually found the victim a few hours later. Officials say that a San Antonio Police K9 unit helped with the search.

The victim was taken to University Hospital in stable condition.

This is a developing story.
