Police ask for information involving husband's pickup truck connected to search for missing Olmos Park woman

Police are asking anyone who may have seen a 2019 black GMC Sierra pickup truck around the time of the woman's disappearance to contact authorities.

SAN ANTONIO — As the search continues for a missing mother in Olmos Park, police are asking for help finding information that would help in the investigation.

Suzanne Clark Simpson, 51, was last seen late Sunday night on the 500 block of East Olmos. Large search efforts involving multiple agencies, including Texas Rangers and the Department of Public Safety, could be seen in the small Bexar County community on Tuesday night.

Simpson, who police say is a beloved member of the close-knit community, is listed online as a real estate agent with Nix Realty. Her biography page says she is a graduate of the University of Texas and a "lifelong resident of San Antonio." The page also indicates she is married with children.

Olmos Park Police said Wednesday that her husband, 53-year-old Brad Simpson, was arrested in Kendall County. He faces charges of assault causing bodily injury-family violence and unlawful restraint after two warrants were approved by the Bexar County Magistrate.

Police said evidence obtained by investigators as well as eyewitnesses suggests there was a physical assault that occurred in Olmos Park. Authorities added that Brad Simpson has been uncooperative with investigators, failing to show up to a scheduled interview regarding his missing wife.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen Brad Simpson’s 2019 black GMC Sierra pickup truck around the time of Suzanne’s disappearance to contact the Olmos Park Police Department as they search for new leads in the investigation. Police said they know where the truck is now, but they want to know more about where it may have traveled in the past few days.
