The former Olmos Park Police Chief submitted a letter of resignation after he had previously been terminated and he had appealed the termination.
Former Olmos Park Police Chief Fritz Bohne was dismissed on March 5 and filed an appeal. Tuesday, Bohne submitted his resignation and the city manager accepted, according to a release from the Mayor Kenneth Farrimond.
The city thanked Bohne for his service and wished him the best, according to a release.
