Owl Creek Farm hosts family pumpkin patch

They farm has pony rides, hay rides, a petting zoo, potato launching, family games, pumpkins and more.

SAN ANTONIO — A family-friendly pumpkin patch is now open on the west side of San Antonio.

Owl Creek Farm located at 12355 Military Drive is open for adults and children of all ages.

The pumpkin patch is open on Wednesdays from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. and Fridays from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. They are also open on the weekends on Saturday from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.

The farm has pony rides a toddler hay maze, hay ride, corn crib, a play area, and even a petting zoo. 

Dave "Ace" Evans, Head Trainer at Westcreek Trail Rides is there to greet you at the front gate with his friendly horse Mercedes. 

"We love each and every one of ya'll and God bless ya'll," Evans said. 

Employees on the farm say one of the biggest hits at the farm is the petting zoo which features several different animals. 

"We got hogs, we got chickens, we got turkeys in the little petting zoo," Evans said.

There's also plenty of opportunities to take fabulous Fall photos of your kiddos.

"We got all these beautiful pumpkins around," Evans said. 

It's only $10 to get in for everybody three years old and above. 

The pony rides are $6.00 each and potato launching is just $3.00 each.

They are also working on some new additions including an enchanted forest and cowboys and alien’s laser tag.

Owl Creek Farm is open all year long but the pumpkin patch will remain open through the first weekend of November.
