SAN ANTONIO --Record rainfall caused severe flooding in several parts of Bexar County and surrounding areas on Memorial Day weekend one year ago in 2013.
In Olmos Basin, a VIA bus was swamped, left afloat on U.S. 281, and in south San Antonio, numerous residents were forced from their mission-area homes.
Officials also reported numerous high-water rescues throughout San Antonio. Many KENS 5 viewers in the midst of the perilous rainstorm and flooding were able to capture astounding images of the destruction.
