Plane with landing gear problem lands safely at S.A. Airport

An inbound twin-engine Cessna has landed at San Antonio International Airport after the pilot reported concerns about unsafe landing gear at about 5:15 p.m. Thursday.

SAN ANTONIO -- An inbound twin-engine Cessna has landed at San Antonio International Airport after the pilot reported concerns about unsafe landing gear at about 5:15 p.m. Thursday.

Four people were on board and were evacuated after the landing. There were no reports of injuries.

The plane's left mount collapsed during the landing, and the Cessna also was leaking fuel, investigators said.

There was no information about where the flight originated or whether San Antonio was the intended destination.
