Police investigating after bones found in a bag on northeast side of town

Officers do not know if the remains are from a child or an animal.

SAN ANTONIO — Police are continuing to investigate after bones were found in a bag on the north east side of town Sunday.

Officers say a woman and a man were walking in the woods near Thousand Oaks and Wurzbach Parkway just after noon when they spotted a blue F-150 truck stuck in the mud. Then they noticed a blue bag nearby.

Inside that bag, they found bones and clothing.

Officers do not know if the remains are from a child or an animal.

CSI was called out to investigate.
