Police investigating after finding man dead on east-side street

The body was reported by someone driving by the location.

SAN ANTONIO — Police are investigating after they found a man dead on an east San Antonio street late Wednesday evening.

Officers say the man was found lying in Ackerman Road near I-10 around 9:45 p.m. by a person driving by the location.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. Right now details are limited, but police tell us they do not think he was hit by a car.

His identity has not been released but police do say he is middle aged.
