SAN ANTONIO — Police are investigating after finding a young man shot in the hip on the southwest side of town late Monday night.
It happened around 10 p.m. in the 9600 block of Lago Del Mar not far from Southwest Loop 410.
Officers found the 15-year-old victim shot in the hip when they arrived at the scene. He was taken to University Hospital in stable condition. Police said the victim was shot at a different location by a suspect who he said tried to rob him.
Detectives say they will try to learn more from the victim when they speak to him at the hospital.
