Police looking for suspects after man was shot in the knee while walking north of downtown

The shooting happened while the man was walking along North Colorado Street around 4 a.m. Monday morning.

SAN ANTONIO — Police say a man had to be taken to the hospital after he was hit with a gunshot wound to the knee while walking in a neighborhood just north of downtown.

The shooting happened while the man was walking along North Colorado Street around 4 a.m. Monday morning.

Police say after the man was shot, he managed to walk to Princeton Avenue to call for help. The 49-year-old victim was taken to an area hospital in stable condition. 

Officers have not made any arrests and are still investigating this shooting.
