SAN ANTONIO — Police say they are getting conflicting details about a shooting that happened just west of downtown early Tuesday morning that left one man injured.
San Antonio Police responded to the Parkside Apartments located on N. Frio Street just after 2 a.m. for reports of a shooting in progress.
When officers arrived at the location, they found a victim in his 20s with a gunshot wound to his right leg below the knee.
Police are not sure if the shooting took place at the apartment complex but believe that the victim may have been driven from where the shooting happened to the apartments afterwards.
A woman who was with the victim gave police conflicting information which added to the confusion.
Police do not have a suspect at this time. They did not provide a description of the suspect either.
The victim was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
The shooting remains under investigation.
