SAN ANTONIO — Police are searching for the suspect who shot a man in his 20s on the southwest side of town late Monday night.
San Antonio Police responded to West Jewell Avenue at Brentwood Place, near Cupples Road, around 11 p.m. for reports of a shooting in progress.
When officers arrived they found the victim, a man in his 20s, with a gunshot wound to his upper thigh. He was taken to University Hospital in stable condition.
The suspect, now identified as Matthew Dylan Moran, 25, fled from the scene following the shooting. He has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
