An officer with the Poteet Police department has been charged with domestic assault after an incident that occurred while she was off duty.
Deputies were dispatched to the 300 block of Perch Meadow on the far west side of San Antonio on a disturbance call, according to the police report.
When they arrived at the home, they found the victim with a bleeding scratch. The victim also said that the officer, Tabitha Guerrero, had "used a pressure point hold" under the victim's chin.
Guerrero admitted to the assault and was taken into custody. According to the Poteet Police chief, Guerrero has been placed on administrative leave.
