SAN ANTONIO — Amazon is slashing prices for its final Prime Day Wednesday. The two-day summer sale has millions of markdowns to check out, but don’t let your deal, be a steal for porch pirates.
Police say there are two simple ways to keep your packages safe:
- Make plans to be home when it arrives.
- Use an amazon locker for your delivery.
- Requesting a signature can also be another option.
Any of these alternatives keep it from being alone on your porch and those pirates away from possibly stealing it.
Workers in Schertz will be putting some of those packages together that will land at your front door within a day or two.
Thw two-day shopping event started Tuesday and goes through Wednesday.
There are plenty of deals on electronics, home goods and other products.
So if you’re expecting a package this week, make plans to get it.
That way you don’t have to worry about the possibility of it being stolen.
