SAN ANTONIO — Wednesday is the last day to file your protest over your property tax appraisal.
It's a busy time for staff at the Bexar County Appraisal District who posted on Twitter/X says the best way to meet the deadline is to submit electronically.
"Protest notices are considered timely received if postmarked or submitted electronically by May 15," the department's Twitter/X page said.
It is also important to know your are a major key to your valuation.
Exemptions include your homestead, disabled veteran status, being over the age of 65, to name a few.
