Officials investigating what caused second story apartment fire on northeast side

Officials said the fire was on the second floor of the complex and was able to be put out in roughly 15 minutes.

SAN ANTONIO — Fire officials are investigating the origins of a second-story apartment fire that happened on the northeast side.

On Saturday, the San Antonio Fire Department responded to the Alamo Estates Apartments located on the 8000 block of Midcrown Drive after receiving reports of a fire.

Officials said the fire was on the second floor of the complex and was able to be put out in roughly 15 minutes.

No injuries were reported and officials have not yet released what caused the fire to start.
