SAN ANTONIO — A 35-year-old is hospitalized and a manhunt underway after gunfire rang out on the east side, San Antonio authorities say.
Officers with the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) arrived to the area of Essex and South Palmetto streets, where they found the victim shot in the leg. He's expected to be OK.
Witnesses told police at the scene a black vehicle was involved in what appeared to be a drive-by shooting. Authorities say they were told the shooter fired several rounds toward two people and hit the 32-year-old before taking off.
No potential suspects have been identified by police.
