SAN ANTONIO — Authorities say they found a man dead upon responding to an apparent shooting outside an apartment complex near Eckhert and Huebner early Tuesday afternoon.
Officials with the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) said the gunfire unfolded in a car and that the as-yet-unidentified suspect fled the 6100 block of Whitby in a vehicle. It's believed the shooting was preceded by some sort of gunfire.
"This appears to be an isolated incident," an SAPD spokesperson on the scene told KENS 5, adding the victim appeared to be in his 20s. "Detectives and officers are here investigating, gathering surveillance footage."
