SAN ANTONIO — Every year, holiday wreaths are placed on the graves of veterans buried at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, but this year, there might not be enough for every grave.
San Antonio Honors tells us that as of Monday, Dec. 2, only 31,600 wreaths have been ordered. There are 182,000 graves at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
The last day you can order a wreath to honor a veteran is Tuesday, Dec. 3. The wreaths will be placed on the graves at a public ceremony on Dec. 14.
These live, balsam fir wreaths are just $17, and are tax-deductible.
