Animal Care Services is now offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to those responsible for the death of George the Duck.
ACS has partnered with The Human Society of the United States and Crime Stoppers to offer the cumulative reward.
George was known for his presence outside the Original Mexican Restaurant on the River Walk.
George was apparently beaten to death last Wednesday by two men on the River Walk, according to a surveillance video. Investigators now have additional video of the incident.
The new video shows four more men who join the two suspects shortly after the duck's demise.
They were in a position to have actually seen the suspects carrying the animal, and they did appear to be together, Audra Houghton said, an ACS investigator.
A local wildlife veterinarian will perform an animal autopsy today to determine George's cause of death.
A memorial service will be held for George the Duck on Thursday at 7 p.m.
