'I hope he gets caught' | Suspected rock throwing vandal causes damage to multiple businesses and Wagner HS

The Judson ISD Police Department, along with BCSO are investigating the incidents off North Foster Road Tuesday.

SAN ANTONIO — A rock throwing vandal caused destruction to local businesses and a high school early Tuesday morning.

Judson ISD police confirmed they are investigating the overnight incident at Wagner High School. A spokesperson stated the windows around the auditorium, library and some classrooms were shattered. One class had to be moved for the day.

But several businesses were also impacted and have surveillance video of the suspect.

“It’s alarming to see,” Siomara Corey said.

Siomara Corey works at HTeaO off North Foster Road. She said their camera caught the man walking up to the business around 5 a.m. Tuesday before they opened. He is then seen throwing rocks into the windows and at the camera.

“In the video, he was very visible, his face,” Corey said. “He was not even trying to hide it but there’s no motive. We don’t know this person.”

The suspect is then seen walking over to another business next door, El Bracero Bar and Grill. Their cameras caught him throwing several rocks at the windows.

Yadira Aguirre’s father owns the business. She said they are having to cover the costs to fix the damage themselves.

“It’s really unfortunate for ourselves as well as for our buildings next to us,” Aguirre said.

After the suspect damaged El Bracero, he is then seen vandalizing a dentist's office.

“I don’t know why he would do it, but I hope he gets caught,” Aguirre said.

Both businesses filed a report with the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office. A spokesperson with Judson ISD said they have cameras on campus but did not confirm that it caught the act.

They added, they will pursue charges once the suspect is caught.
