SAN ANTONIO — Two female students and one male student have been arrested and charged with making a terroristic threat, according to a spokesperson with the North East Independent School District. We've been told that the students are in 9th grade.
Earlier in the afternoon, the district confirmed there was a report of a gun on the Roosevelt High School campus.
According to NEISD spokesperson Aubrey Chancellor, authorities searched the campus and found two plastic toy guns.
The school was placed on lockdown Tuesday morning, but the district confirms the lockdown has been lifted after nearly two hours.
According to the district, it started when a student went to an officer to report a student with a weapon.
On Monday, a Roosevelt student received a call from a blocked number threatening violence at the school. A spokesperson for North East ISD said they don't believe the incidents are connected.
