DALLAS — Patients at Children's Medical Center Dallas had a very special guest on Thursday.
Renowned show host Ryan Seacrest visited his very own Seacrest Studios at Children’s Health Dallas, which was established by the Ryan Seacrest Foundation in 2012. The studio gives patients the chance to learn, explore and play interactive games while entertainment programs are broadcasted throughout the hospital via the Children’s Health Red Balloon League Network.
The ultimate mission of studio is to provide a better experience for Children’s Health patients and their families, a sense or normalcy or a welcome distraction while they’re dealing with illness, hospital officials said in a release.
During his visit, Seacrest had the opportunity to chat one-on-one with Children’s Health patients in-studio and answer their questions. His visit was broadcasted throughout the hospital, so patients who were not able to attend in-person had the opportunity to be entertained from their rooms.
