SAN ANTONIO -- The San Antonio Independent School District fired a substitute teacher who allegedly hit a student with a chair last week.
The incident happened Friday at Connell Middle School on the south side, near Hot Wells Boulevard and S. New Braunfels Avenue.
District officials said the substitute teacher threw a chair that bounced off a wall and ended up hitting a boy on his arm.
