SAN ANTONIO — On Friday, October 20, the San Antonio Zoo is offering local residents discount admissions for Locals Day, which also coincides with International Sloth Day.
During Locals Days the zoo offers discount admissions for $8 per person.
The zoo says Locals Days discounts allows even more people to learn about how the zoo combines conservation, animal care, and how the zoo preserves future wildlife. It's also a way to show gratitude towards the residents of San Antonio and Bexar County.
Visitors will need to show proof of Bexar County residency in order to receive the discount.
You can also hang out with the sloths at the zoo to celebrate International Sloth Day.
The zoo said discounted admissions can be purchased online.
The remaining Locals Days for the year are November 24 and December 4.
