SAN ANTONIO — Nearly 20 San Antonio fire crews were called to battle the flames at a west-side commercial building near an apartment complex.
Firefighters responded to a call around 4 a.m. at West Thompson Place and South General McMullen Drive.
Officials said the fire started in a blue commercial building and it took crews over an hour to put out the flames.
There is an apartment complex right behind the building but fire officials said they were not affected.
The commercial building sustained more than $100,000 worth of damages, officials said.
The cause of the fire has not been determined and remains under investigation.
No injuries were reported and officials said no one was in the building at the time of the fire.
