SAN ANTONIO — Multiple San Antonio Fire Department units were at the scene of an apartment fire on the city's northwest side Tuesday morning.
Firefighters arrived at The Abbey at Medical Center apartments on the 5400 block of Rowley Road where eight units were affected by a fire believed to have started on the second floor, according to SAFD.
Some pets are unaccounted for at this time but no one was injured in the fire.
The SAFD Battalion Chief said preliminary information looks like the fire may have been an accident but they are continuing to investigate the cause.
