San Antonio firefighters knock down vacant house fire on north side, officials say

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio fire crews battled a small house fire on the north side early Friday morning. 

Firefighters responded to a working fire on the 1300 block of Pasadena Street around 1:00 a.m. 

Fire officials said the fire started in the back of the home. Flames were reportedly coming out of the house when crews arrived but was quickly put out.  

The house was vacant and no injuries were reported. The fire did not impact neighboring homes, according to officials. 

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
